Chisholm Roofing Co

Three people, and two of them used to frame houses

That is the whole roster, and it is also the whole idea. A roofing crew led by the trade that builds the roof's skeleton reads a roof differently, and a three-person company has nowhere to hand you off to.

Ellis Brandt, owner

Fourteen years framing Wichita area houses taught Ellis where roofs are born and, later, where they fail: at the deck, the valleys, and the flashing lines nobody can see from the street. He founded Chisholm Roofing Co in 2020 after years of answering leak calls on houses he had framed. Still reads every set of inspection photographs before a repair is priced. Grew up in Hutchinson, lives in Wichita, and will talk truss geometry longer than you asked him to.

Nolan Pierce, lead roofer

Nolan framed beside Ellis for six years and made the same crossing in

  1. He runs most of the repair work and the storm documentation rounds, where his framer's habit of measuring everything twice has saved more than one homeowner from a repair scoped to the wrong slope. If your inspection involves a steep old College Hill pitch, Nolan is probably the one on it.

Tess Whitaker, the office

Tess scheduled framing crews for a Wichita builder before she scheduled roof crews for us, which means storm season holds no surprises for her. She answers the phone and [email protected], keeps the call list in the order it arrived, and is the reason a message sent at 7am gets an answer from a person who knows where the trucks are.
